
Azul Sordo
Azul Sordo is a visual journalist based in Dallas, Texas. Azul received a bachelors degree in journalism with honors from the Mayborn School for Journalism at the University of North Texas in 2024.

Much of her work focuses on culture, immigration, healthcare— and the intersection of these issues. She started her career primarily a photographer, but has expanded to short-form and documentary filmmaking.

Azul is currently the video intern at the Dallas Morning News.
